Fans honor radio DJ Kidd Kraddick


DALLAS, TX – Kidd Kraddick spent his life making people laugh during their morning drive and raising money for his charity Kidd’s Kids. Thursday night, Kraddick’s radio co-hosts, musicians and fans came together to honor his life and work. According to International Business Times, Kraddick passed away July 27 due to heart-related issues.

The tribute included a free performance by Ben Folds. Folds sang Kraddick’s favorite song, “I Am the Luckiest.” Kraddick’s daughter Caroline, also performed.

Kraddick’s co-host Kellie Rasberry said that the Kidd’s Kidds charity will continue to raise money to send terminally ill children and their families to Florida for the annual Kidd’s Kids Disney World Vacation.
