DALLAS — The Texas Theatre and the USA Film Festival will host writer/director Whit Stillman in conjunction with a double feature of Love & Friendship and The Last Days of Disco on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Texas Theatre, 231 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Dallas. The evening will include screenings of both films plus an on-stage conversation with Whit Stillman and book signing of his latest novel “Love & Friendship: In Which Jane Austen’s Lady Susan Vernon is Entirely Vindicated.”

A limited number of copies of “Love & Friendship: In Which Jane Austen’s Lady Susan Vernon is Entirely Vindicated” will be available at the program. Whit Stillman will autograph copies.
TICKETS for the program are $12 per film and are available in advance via the Texas Theatre’s prekindle box office.
ABOUT THE TEXAS THEATRE — The historic Texas Theatre was opened at 231 West Jefferson Boulevard on San Jacinto Day, April 21, 1931 by the Robb & Rowley Theater chain which was briefly owned by Howard Hughes. The theater later became famous as the hiding place and capture location of Lee Harvey Oswald on 11-22-63. Aviation Cinemas has operated the theater as a cinema and event space since 2010.
